Bristan, leading taps and showers brand offers solutions to keep elderly and vulnerable people safe and comfortable in the homes they love. Bristan can help families give their loved ones the ability to continue living independently with dignity in their own homes through expertly designed bathroom solutions.

With a rising life expectancy translating to greater numbers of people with accessibility needs, there is a growing demand for adaptable products for the home. Luckily, Bristan has answered this demand with its extensive product offering.

With over 140 years expertise in designing and manufacturing certified and approved taps and showers for the commercial and domestic specification market, Bristan has developed a comprehensive product range including thermostatic mixing valves, showers, basin mixers and bath shower mixers, electric showers for the care market; plus a variety of DocM grab rails, seats, shower packs and WC packs in various colour options. Not to mention non-touch and timed flow technologies and coordinated tap, shower and accessory collections.

Conforming to all quality, safety and legislative requirements, without compromising on style or performance; our comprehensive product ranges are designed for ease of use by all ages and abilities.

One example is Bristan`s Joy Care shower. Endorsed by BEAB Care and the RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People), it takes into account the needs of the elderly and people with disabilities.

What makes Joy Care different is the inclusion of a number of design features, these include large, easy to move dials, raised markings and an audible click when settings are adjusted, making it safe and easy-to-use for those with dementia and/or other disabilities. It also incorporates an illuminated stop/start button, an LED digital setting display and a grey contrasting back box, with the option of longer riser rail and handle style dials.

Furthermore, it`s not only Bristan showers that are designed to be accessible by all users. A full range of long lever or soft-touch push button taps that can be installed as a stylish alternative to standard taps and crosshead taps offer familiarity to older users, or family members with dementia. There are several variations of crosshead tap available from Bristan, from chunky modern styles to more traditional designs, all featuring clear hot and cold indices to prevent scalding or cold water shock, with ease of operation as a primary benefit.

Bristan is so much more than simply a supplier of brassware and showers; you will benefit from our industry knowledge and a skilled specification product development team. We strongly believe that our personal approach can allow us to add value far beyond any that could be achieved in a conventional supplier role. Indeed, for the Specification Sales Team, it`s a matter of personal pride that we`ve always delivered the highest of service levels to our clients.
