Matthew Lamb has developed an expertise in data protection and data security, with a particular speciality on the GDPR. He was one of the first people to graduate from the Henley Business School GDPR Transition Programme.
Matthew is an experienced senior manager who has directed companies in Europe and Africa over many years. For most of the last 15 years he has been a Managing Director in the security risk management sector, advising companies on how to assess and mitigate their commercial, security and political risks when operating in new and potentially high-risk countries.
Matthew’s senior management experience means that he knows full well the difficulties of ensuring corporate compliance with a variety of regulations and therefore is able to properly advise companies on practical measures to ensure compliance with data protection laws.
In his seminar entitled, GDPR: Life After the 25th May Deadline, Matthew will be giving practical advice on how to remain compliant with the various data protection laws that will come into effect in 2018. He will cover both the technical and organisational measures that need to be put in place and how to demonstrate compliance to all stakeholders, including the regulators. Finally, Matthew shall be discussing what needs to be put in place to prevent your organisation’s personal data from being hacked.
This is a legislation that will impact thousands of businesses across the UK; and this should be reason enough for you to attend Matthew’s seminar.
