“Imagine an all-inclusive society offering solutions to adults and children that enable them to reach their full potential in both education and the workplace. By improving the outcomes for people who have both visible and invisible disabilities, the economic and societal gains are staggering. Individuals may not have the best start in education, which has a huge impact on their entire life. Those individuals have a hard time going on to University, gaining employment or holding on to their jobs and if you fall out of employment, it really affects your health, your well-being and your whole life. My job is to find solutions to help people overcome the barriers and challenges from their disabilities or health conditions. I absolutely believe that if there are genuine employment and educational opportunities for the disabled people then we can find a solution for them to succeed and fulfil their potential. This also has the benefit of making people who developed health conditions and disabilities while in employment more productive and significantly reduce their absenteeism."
