Helen Lloyd
Hello, my name is Helen Lloyd and I am an Occupational Therapist with over 10 years clinical experience who has specialized in Neurological Practice. I have a BA Hons in Human Geography and MSc in Occupational Therapy. I commenced work as a Band 5 Occupational Therapist gaining experience across a range of specialist areas and then progressed to a Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist working in Acute Medicine, Community Neurological Rehabilitation and at a Neurological Rehabilitation Centre undertaking complex, specialist assessments, rehabilitation input and discharge planning. I also have experience as a live in Spinal Care personal assistant, undertaking OT lecturing and exam invigilation and worked as the Lead Occupational Therapist on a specialist eating disorder unit. Most recently I have worked for an independent Occupational Therapy company specialising in providing Occupational Therapy rehabilitation input for adult and paediatric litigation clients post traumatic brain injury. Within this role I have also been providing input for the paediatric sensory service. I am hugely passionate about Occupational Therapy and helping others to be able to undertake their valued occupations and to be as independent as possible in everything that is meaningful to them.
