Alice Evans and Lucy Wood

Alice and Lucy are two 30-something women with disabilities and a lot to say! After meeting online at the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic both of them discovered they had a very similar approach to life and a similar outlook on disability; Drawing on their own lived experiences of disability, lABLEd Podcast was created.

With a shared background in Media Studies and passionate advocates for disabled people, hosting lABLEd has only strengthened their friendship, understanding and compassion for others who see themselves differently.

Alongside guest conversations, lABLEd has special episodes about Disability History and Disability in Film, Fiction and Art that we call fABLEd’s, (see what we did there?!) These episodes are laugh-out-loud, audience favourites and we are thrilled to bring the latest instalment to Naidex.
