Self-management skills for the workplace
In a society where more and more people face working with pain, fatigue or other symptoms, self-management skills for the workplace are essential. This session will provide an overview of some simple and effective skills that can be implemented in almost any work setting. The skills work well for those with chronic fatigue or pain but are also effective for phased returns after illness /injury or return to work following maternity leave. The same skills can help boost efficiency and reduce burn out in healthy workforces.
I'll also share some tips for making an ill health disclosure and finish with some of the benefits that disabled employees can bring.
