REHASENSE UK TO UNVEIL NEW PRODUCTS & DEALER OFFERS AT NAIDEX 2023
Rehasense will be debuting several new additions to its product line on stand C36 at Naidex 2023 details of which will be available nearer to showtime. These will be complimented by the company’s existing range of mobility solutions including PAWS, Track Wheel and examples from its manual wheelchair and rollator portfolios. There will also be several special ‘show offers’ for trade customers visiting the stand.
If you are looking to add extra power to your wheelchair, the Power Assisted Wheelchair Systems (PAWS) from Rehasense is perfect. There are three models available, the Cruiser, City and Tourer. The ‘City’ has a 12” or 14” wheel and is designed primarily for use around town, while the Cruiser has a larger 16” wheel for rougher terrain. The off-road Tourer has a 20” wheel and 4” fat tyre for increased clearance and manoeuvrability. PAWS requires no frame alteration or additional add-ons to the wheelchair and will be available this summer.
Track Wheel has been designed to transform a standard manual wheelchair into an agile tricycle in a matter of seconds with no tools required. By attaching the 12” Track Wheel, the wheelchair’s castors are raised which slightly tilts the chair backwards and by reducing the rolling resistance, the user can enjoy increased speed, manoeuvrability, and comfort. Weighing from only 2.6 kg and available in single arm carbon and double arm aluminium or carbon, the Track Wheel adds very little weight to the existing wheelchair. The single arm model has been designed for use with rigid wheelchairs while the double arm model will be for use with foldable wheelchairs featuring fixed integrated footrests.
At just 8.2kg, the ICON 35BX is the lightest wheelchair in the ICON range and features an ergonomic seat and back angle for a superb seating position. The ICON 35LX which weighs only 9.0kg is fitted with enhanced ergonomic seating, back upholstery and adjustable arm rests for increased support and pressure relief if required. Both models have seat widths of 16”/40cm and 18”/45cm respectably and when folded take up little space with length, height and width dimensions of just 26”x29”x11”. Both models have a maximum user weight of 125kg.
The Space LX rollator combines intuitive design, smooth lines and high strength alloy materials yet weighs only 5.8kg. Height adjustable handles with indexed settings provide excellent user comfort while increased safety comes from the quick positive braking system. Available in medium and large and a choice of colours, the Space LX is fitted with a backrest and stick holder as standard along with integrated removeable basket and has a maximum user weight of 150kg along with a 7-year warranty
